Guardian Angel

Long time ago I had the inspiration to draw a guardian angel watching over a man when he sleeps. I didn't succeed drawing a man below though, because years ago I specialised in illustrating females but not males.

So I drew this...

I never finished the sketch but I still liked it very much.

 

Especially the way I drew the face and the star on the forehead...

... the hands with hair floating around it...

While playing with Photoshop, I also decided to add a blue photo filter and render a lighting effect to make it more atmospheric.

Hush....may the angels watch over you when thou sleep.
