The hysteria surrounding ESC is contagious when taking part in the preparations. Adrienne Seet from Singapore is working as a volunteer at Telenor Arena. She moved to her Norwegian fiance less than a year ago and had no idea what the ESC was. Her first experience was when Alexander Rybak won the competition in Moscow. Adrienne is a television producer with experience in the Olympic Games in Beijing and other major events.

Asim Mangjo is a die-hard fan of ESC. Before, he had only one country to cheer on. In two days he has: his country of Bosnia and the new home country Norway. He is obviously a member of Melodi Grand Prix club and we are on their spring gathering in Oslo, where they have a separate vote at this year's participants. Switzerland won. Could that be an omen?

Erik Solbakken was the big surprise when this year's hosts to ESC were presented. Noman Mubashir follows the young, blonde man from Hemsedal for a few days during the buildup before the ESC.

Det skal handle om musikk-konkurransen alle har et forhold til, enten de elsker eller hater den – Eurovision Song Contest

Hysteriet rundt ESC smitter når man deltar i forberedelsene. Adrienne Seet fra Singapore jobber som frivillig på Telenor Arena. Hun flyttet til sin norske forlovede for under ett år siden og ante ikke hva ESC var. Hennes første opplevelse var da Alexander Rybak vant konkurransen i Moskva. Adrienne er tv-producer med erfaring fra bla Olympiske leker i Beijing og andre store arrangementer.

Asim Mangjo er blodfan av ESC. Før hadde han bare ett land å heie på. I dag har han to: fedrelandet Bosnia og det nye hjemlandet Norge. Han er selvsagt medlem i MGP-klubben og vi er med på deres vårtreff i Oslo, der de har en egen avstemning på årets deltagere. Sveits vant. Kan det være et forvarsel?

Erik Solbakken var den store overraskelsen da årets programledere til ESC ble presentert. Noman Mubashir følger den unge, blonde mannen fra Hemsedal noen dager under oppladningen før ESC.
